Click the button above to register online. If you are unable to register online, download and print the voter registration form or ask your county election official mail a form to you. Follow the instructions and return it to your county election office.

There are no statewide elections scheduled in 2023, although some counties and municipalities (including Tucson) are holding local elections. Check with your county election official for more information on local elections. Check the city of Tucson Elections Website for more information on Tucson elections.
Registration
– In order to vote in all federal, state, county, and local elections for which you are eligible, you must submit a valid proof of citizenship with your registration form. If you do not submit proof of citizenship, you will be eligible to vote only for federal offices and not the full ballot until you provide a valid proof of citizenship to your County Recorder’s office. – The registration deadline is 29 days before Election Day.
– A mailed paper registration form is deemed to be received in time for an election if 1) the form is dated on or before the voter registration deadline and received by your county election official within five calendar days after the voter registration deadline, or 2) if the form is postmarked on or before the voter registration deadline and received by your county election official by 7 pm on Election Day.
Absentee / Vote-by-Mail Ballots
– Arizona maintains an Active Early Voting List (AEVL). Voters on the list are automatically sent a ballot-by-mail for all elections in which they are eligible to vote. You can sign up for the list when you register or you can update your registration to get on the AEVL. You can also download a form to submit your request by mail.
– There is no deadline to sign up for the AEVL, but to get a ballot-by-mail for an upcoming election you must sign up at least 11 days before Election Day.
– If you do not want to sign up for the AEVL, you can request a one-time ballot-by-mail online, download a form to submit your request by mail, or call your county election office.
– Ballot Return Deadline: Completed ballots must be received by your county election official or at a drop-off location by 7 pm on Election Day. The USPS recommends mailing your ballot back at least 7 days before Election Day.
